Fathers stories about the time before ponies always fascinated me when I was a child. Cities were filled to the brim instead of decaying monuments of a civilization that died nearly twenty years ago. Of a world so interconnected, that you could view things happening clear on the other side of the globe.
Slowly but surely, I managed to drag my new ass over to my bedroom door. Let's just say that falling out of bed and hitting your bea- err, nose into the carpet hurts like all hell. Thankfully that fall didn't break or pull anything. In the end, I basically dragged myself to the door with my talons and left some nice gouges in the carpet I might add. And opening the door, I poked my head out into the living room.

On this day, 21st October 2015, is the day when Doc Emmet Brown arrives in the future. From this point onwards, there will only be the past. And... boy is he in for a surprise.
After reading Starscribe's The Last Pony on Earth, I was intrigued to learn more about the setting and scenario he'd created. Enter the aforementioned group and a handy list of stories that... At this point, I don't remember how I chose these. <.< But they're mostly short and run the gamut from "really good" to "really not so

So, I have set my character on a quest, and will head him toward the city.
I have been considering some details: I have settled on an approximate date of 350 AE for the start of this story. This raises the question of the general level of technology in the Northeast U.S. at the time. The farm described is pretty much pre-Industrial Revolution, or at least the beginning of it. As an outlying rural area, that seems appropriate: but what of the city?

Hey everypony! I just thought I'd take a moment to announce the sequel to Last Pony on Earth, Founders of Alexandria!
I guess I probably should've made this blog post sooner, because it's coming tomorrow morning. Founders of Alexandria will update every weekday, meaning no updates Saturday or Sunday.
Over 2 years ago when I joined this site I was inspired to write and ut out my own story. However I would hit snags in real life and the things that motivated me to keep going stopped motivating me.
Well several months ago I found a story called "The last pony on earth"
